Adamowo -

a village in Poland located in Masovian Voivod eship, in Sierpc County, in the municipality Mochowo. In the year s 1975-1998 belonged administratively to the village population o f Plock. On the map from 1839 stated that a settlement existed he re a forest belonging to the estate Ligowo on one of the forest clearings indicated only one house. Adamowo developed until the mid-nineteenth century, the village name probably derives from the name of one of the contemporary heirs League.
